Vision
Our vision is of a community in which the journey of learning is a central theme creating connection at a variety of levels: between the learners and the tutors in the workshops; between the individual learners and the larger community of the Adelaide Hills; and at a deeper level with themselves as individuals. We want to provide a place where people can find and follow their enthusiasms in life.
A core gesture of supporting each other's learning journey is that we want eclectic dialogue allowing us to connect to and know our self as an experience. This means that the experience of dialoguing about a subject, regardless of subject matter, can help us come to profound re-connecting to the Self and our self worth. This is a part of the whole nourishment aspect of community.
We want for each the opportunity to gain mastery in areas of interest and the opportunity to share some of that mastery.
We hope that this vision will be part of how we approach tutors and learners and become the ethos of our endeavour to learn by embracing diversity and respect for the self of others.
